When we first arrived at Silver Lake we knew that it was the perfect time to go mid week because not many vehicles were on the dunes. In these images it may look like we were the only ones there but there might have been twenty other vehicles out there. We were worried that the storm would roll in. So far this July has been the most over cast, rainy, damp month and I’m not sure how I feel about it. Sydnie and her family have been coming up here for years and so it had to be the perfect spot to continue her senior year sessions. It was so fun and adventurous for us to travel through the dunes in this jeep. Interesting with camera gear and all the sand but we managed. I hadn’t been on them other than the Mac Wood’s Dune Rides so it was great getting to experience it this way for the first time. Sydnie and family, enjoy your last little bit at Silver Lake.
