This was the first time I met both Sydney and Elyzabeth. We met up at Grand Valley State University which has the most beautiful gardens throughout the campus. I’d say these girls really rocked it. I’m not sure if you can tell but it was raining during this day but I usually say that if the forecast is below 50% expectancy we usually luck out by the time we shoot. This doesn’t mean that it doesn’t make me nervous for finding the perfect spot. These ladies though did not seem to sweat it at all and we had loads of fun. I’m pretty sure that Sydney and I are kindred spirits with our goofy demeanor. It was great getting a chance to joke around with each of them and hear about what they want to do in the future.
Elyzabeth dreams of becoming a paramedic one day. Which makes a lot of sense when mom had this to say about her “she’s passionate about caring for others and making sure everyone is treated equally. She’s always puts others first. Even in preschool when she was being told when another student was upset she was always the first one to get a tissue or pat them on the back.”
Her favorite quote is “Legacy, what is a legacy? It’s planting seeds in a garden you never get to see. “-Hamilton : An American Musical
Elyzabeth is not the only one interested in pursuing something in the medical field. Sydney also has dreams of continuing on at MSU to become a Nurse Practitioner or EMU for Physician Assistant. Which is no surprise since she wanted to be a cardiothoracic surgeon when she was younger.
Girls I hope you enjoy every minute of this last year in High School. It was so great getting to meet you all and I hope to see you again soon (Hopefully not on the job someday).
xoxo
