Grand Haven Engagement Photographer

I recently had the joy of capturing Pete and Rachel’s engagement session in the charming town of Grand Haven, Michigan. As a Grand Haven engagement photographer, I love finding the perfect blend of natural beauty and urban charm, and this session was no exception.

We began on the quiet streets of Grand Haven, exploring the natural areas that provided a simple yet stunning backdrop for the first half of our shoot. The streets were peaceful, which allowed Pete and Rachel’s love to shine effortlessly in every photo. With minimal distractions, we could focus on their connection, which made the photos feel all the more intimate and authentic.

As we moved down to the docks, the weather began to shift. Clouds started rolling in, and a light rain began to fall. We took a brief pause, and luckily, nature was on our side. The rain subsided just long enough for us to keep shooting. The sky, however, was still putting on a show—soft blues and pinks swirled together as the clouds lingered overhead, creating the most magical backdrop. The colors of the sky added a romantic touch to the photos that couldn’t have been planned if we’d tried!
