Over the past week the weather had been quite chilly for early June. However when we arrived in Holland it was the perfect night filled with overcast skies and a warm breeze. From downtown Holland to the State Beach we only had a tiny bit of sun peek out which can sometimes be a photographer’s dream. It was the perfect evening on the lakeshore so Imagine our surprise when we arrived to the beach and saw a dozen sail boats emerge on the horizon. After a couple minutes we moved closer to the light house and they started to pull into the channel where we were able to get a closer look.
Upon meeting Eli for the first time he was very quiet but told me he was willing to do whatever I asked him to do for his session. I felt like I barely said a thing because every move he made was perfect and already what I was going to ask him to do. Each shot came with an epic “model face” that he could turn on and off instantly without prompting. He completely nailed it. Over the course of our time together I got to know this sweet young man. He attends Caledonia High School where he is just completing his junior year. He was referred to me by my senior rep/his friend Aidan Sowerby. I’m glad our paths crossed Eli. It was great meeting you and I wish many blessings over this next year.
