Grand Haven Beach Proposal

Capturing Brendan and Alex’s proposal was quite the adventure! Brendan had his heart set on a beach proposal, but he wanted a more private spot, which made it tricky to stay hidden while photographing the moment. I managed to blend in by asking some friendly ladies on the beach if I could sit with them for a while. Pretending to photograph them, I waited patiently for Brendan and Alex to arrive. When their backs were turned, I discreetly moved closer, careful not to give anything away.

Then the moment arrived—Brendan got down on one knee, and Alex, with a look of pure joy, said yes! It was such a special moment, made even more beautiful by their story. The two of them met at a protest, where Alex fell in love with Brendan’s words and kind heart while he was giving a speech. The love between them is undeniable, and I couldn’t be happier for these two!

Congratulations, Brendan and Alex! Here’s to a lifetime of love, adventure, and more beautiful moments like this one!
