She texted me a couple weeks ago “Do you want to know a secret?” and I instantly knew. Kaylynn and I usually can see things coming in each other’s lives but this one I didn’t. If you’ve been following me for a while you’ll notice that the Woznicks aren’t new to my photography. It all started a couple years ago when her and I worked together and then Drew came on board. In the midst of this she was the one that got me back into photography briefly when she asked me to photograph their wedding. It’s been so fun being able to document each one of the exciting moments since. From Becket’s pregnancy announcement, to this new baby they are welcoming next March.
We met up at Cornerstone University because Drew is currently a Resident Director while also attending classes. He’s got a pretty busy schedule so we broke all of my rules and found a spot to photograph them mid day. It was on the brink of Beckett’s nap so we had to be quick. I like to think of it being that he just heard the news and that he needed to warm up to the idea throughout our time together. He definitely has an expression that can’t be hidden and I think that makes things all the better. Go ahead and look through this beautiful announcement of my dear friends Drew and Kaylynn as they debut this new life they are welcoming into their family. I can’t even wait!
