It was such a beautiful weekend. A November rarity in Michigan. Especially Northern Michigan. With a high in the upper 60s which made it exciting to sit outside sipping our wine and exploring.
For the weekend we stayed in a vacation rental that I would recommend. Find it here. It was lovely. It had a full kitchen, two bedrooms with queen beds, grill, patio, a firepit, and living room. A great space for a ladies getaway.
Since we were up there for the weekend we spent Saturday exploring Suttons Bay while shopping and to finish, we wine tasted at Mari Vineyards. The photos below of us in front of a door are the underground gates to where they ferment the wine.
At the end of the weekend we hit up Old Mission Light house in the morning and lunch at Bubba’s burgers (which were amazing). We then took home some delicious peace, love, and little donuts– I enjoyed the heath bar ones.
Next time we do this we know there is much more to see. Feel free to list in the comments some of your favorite things to do in Traverse City.
