One of my favorite parts about senior photos is finding places that mean so much to them. I love that Kendra really thought about what she wanted and the beauty of it is that we traveled down to South Haven, Michigan to visit her Grandma’s Farm. She has so many fond memories here and I love that she was able to capture that. Another special element is that Kendra was wearing a ring that was once her Grandma’s. This was so unbelievably sweet. For her to look back and treasure this time with heirlooms of her own. -I’m not crying you’re crying. For Kendra it was important to her to show off this location.
Kendra has a love for nature and you’ll see this throughout her session. She’s involved in FFA, 4H, the Be nice program, as well as Caledonia’s Equestrian Team. Something she is very proud and humbled to share is that through the hardest year of her life she withheld the position of the FA Region V team president. Let me tell you, The first time I met Kendra I knew she was the sweetest girl and I love that she is great at including others. I know that she probably gives all she can give to each and everything she does and I’m proud to have her on my senior representative team.
After Grandma’s farm we headed over to the beach. You might not be able to tell but this was a hot and sticky evening. Kendra made it so fun and even got adventurous in the end. (Keep scrolling, you’ll see what I mean) For her, watching the sunsets and spending time with family is something she loves to do so it was the perfect to start at Grandma’s and end with a beautiful Sunset at the beach.
This was my first time exploring South Haven so it was exciting. I’ll definitely be back!
