Jada is a current senior at Hudsonville High School. She’s currently in the SLIC (student leaders initiating change)club, Eagles United, and choir. Her favorite thing is Singing! Music has been in her life since she can remember, and no matter what’s going on it always makes her feel better. This is probably why she loves choir and musicals so much.
When talking with my seniors I always ask what is something they are so proud of from the last few years. Jada’s response was “Learning to love myself, and accepting where I am in each moment. Without judging myself because I know that I am growing/learning more everyday.” I’d say that is probably one of the most important things to learn especially as a young woman entering adulthood. She is very passionate about making the world a better place and Jada I think this world is better with you in it.
Her session started out at the iconic blue bridge in downtown Grand Rapids. We decided to move to each mural we knew of in town which I think was very fitting of her. It was without a doubt so much fun as her parents joined us. There was never a dull moment and I think that’s what made it all exciting.
Jada I wish you all the luck in this last year. Keep on being you- you’re pretty amazing the way you are!
