As a photographer, every senior session brings something unique, and Nasir’s was no different. We met near the Grand Rapids Art Museum, or GRAM, which provided the perfect backdrop for his photos. Even though it was a shorter session, the energy was relaxed and easy-going, which matched Nasir’s quiet but genuine personality.
Nasir attends Grand Rapids Christian school and is currently in his senior year. As we walked around the museum’s sleek architecture and lush outdoor spaces, he was composed and focused, offering these great subtle smiles. His quiet demeanor seemed to reflect a thoughtfulness that came through beautifully in the photos. He didn’t say much, but when he did, it was with a certain sincerity that made the session feel effortless.
Working with Nasir was a pleasure, and although our time together was brief, I was able to capture moments that showcased his calm confidence. The Grand Rapids Art Museum, with its modern design, gave the perfect mix of urban elegance to highlight Nasir’s personality as he stands on the threshold of his next chapter.
