Session Part One
Like many other seniors I’ve photographed this year, I met Chloe through youth group. My favorite thing about Chloe is that she has always been one to jump into any situation and do it well. (Broom-ball goalie anyone?) She has always had a lot of wisdom for someone young but has never been afraid to ask for advice. Her constant drive to learn something new has always inspired me. I’ll never forget when she learned the song “Let it go” in more languages than I can count.
I remember the day when she asked me to attend her confirmation of faith. I felt so honored that she wanted me to be a part of it. I was trying to find a verse that reminded me of her, wrote it in a note and gave it to her. Little did I know that it would be the same verse she memorized for the occasion. I believe it was “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11. Chloe I hope you hold onto this verse as a reminder of God’s plans even when you feel discouraged. Let this next year challenge you like no other so that you can live those plans out to the fullest.
Chloe’s session took place in downtown Holland and at Holland beach.
I don’t usually include my little notes from clients but I couldn’t help but share the one from Chloe because it also meant a lot to me for her to let me do her portraits.
