Cassie is a Senior at Hudsonville High School. She has played the flute for the past 6 years and hopes to have one last year in track and field (COVID allowing). I met Cassie a few years back. She was always the quite one in our small group of girls at youth group. I remember attending camp and sitting while sipping our coffees talking about life and the future and where she’s at. I think that was the pivotal moment where her and I really grew in our friendship. She went from this quiet, shy, girl to being a bold, speaks her mind, lady. I’m so proud of you Cassie and how you’ve handled this journey you’ve been on. It’s been an honor to be a part of it.
Cassie and I spent this past Sunday in Holland strolling around Hope College, Verplank Loading Doc and my secret private beach spot. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening because the sun was so glowy and really brought out Cassie’s natural beauty.
