A Classic Celebration at The Italian American Club of Livonia

Kara and Jeremy’s wedding in Livonia was timeless from start to finish. With a Catholic ceremony at St. Thomas A’Becket and a black and white reception at the Italian American Club, this Italian American Club of Livonia wedding was classic, heartfelt and full of joy.

Getting ready in Livonia

The morning started with the ladies getting ready at Kara and Jeremy’s home, full of excitement and laughter, while the guys spent the morning at Jeremy’s parents’ house. Their black and white details, from the stationery to the bow tie, set the tone for the whole day.

A first look on the church grounds

Before the ceremony, Kara and Jeremy shared an intimate first look on the peaceful grounds of the church, then exchanged gifts. It was such a sweet, quiet moment before everything got going.

The church was filled with family and friends as Kara’s dad walked her down the aisle and the two of them said their vows. It was such a joyful ceremony.

After the ceremony, we headed to the Italian American Club of Livonia. The courtyard fountain, garden stairs and white hydrangeas made for beautiful portraits before the reception.

A black and white reception

The reception was styled in a timeless black and white palette that felt sophisticated and romantic. They had a sweetheart table under a black arch sign, a beautiful white cake from Luca Pastry, and an emotional first dance, and then the dance floor stayed full all night.
