After the year we’ve had I think it’s one of the coolest things that the parents of Hudsonville High School decided to put on a prom for these seniors. When I was asked if I could photograph this session I was unbelievably honored and determined to make these as beautiful and epic as possible so that they had something to hold onto for their senior memories. One of the coolest parts of my senior rep program is offering them a friends session. These are the types of sessions that are great. You spend so much money on the dress, shoes, hair, and make-up to what? Take photos on your phone? Why not get gorgeous photos to remember this by as well.
We met at the blue bridge near the Grand Rapids Public Museum. Upon arrival we found that we were not the only ones wanting photos in this location. There had to have been at least 150 people on the bridge so senior prom photos. This was no exaggeration. Because of this we decided to find spots that still incorporated the bridge but didn’t make it feel like we were surrounds by hundreds of people. We started by the museum and then worked our way to the JW Marriott parking garage. I think it’s safe to say that these fulfilled the girls’ expectations.
