It was a gorgeous day when Brooke and I met up in Holland, Michigan. When we arrived, we noticed some dark clouds rolling in but couldn’t determine where they were going. We decided to start off her session at Pillar Church and I’m glad we did because the rain started and we had a spot to be covered without jeopardizing our schedule. You’ll notice her dad’s stethoscope she’s wearing which is so sweet. He’s a first responder and fire fighter who she admires. Someday she hopes to follow in his footsteps in some way. She’s not sure what yet but she’d like to pursue something in the medical field as she is currently doing EMT school. It was only fitting to then head over to the historical firehouse No. 2. Because the rain had stopped we continued walking to places I’ve never gone to so that we could make it unique. When we left downtown we headed over to Spyglass Condos to enjoy the beach. It was very windy but it made the water so pretty like beautiful beach glass. You can see what I mean below.
Brooke is a senior at Grand Haven High School. She’s involved in Mock trial, Future prep’d, and works at a local ice cream shop. Her future goals are going to Hope College, GVSU, or entering the military. I think those are some pretty amazing aspirations. Brooke you are the sweetest and this year is only the beginning. May your future take you to unbelievable opportunities. Best of luck!
