So you might notice that this is slightly a personal post as well as Katelyn’s. I couldn’t resist using her first ever cheer picture in this post because it’s so darn adorable. I’ll never forget how excited Katelyn was when she put that uniform on. (growing up I couldn’t stand cheerleading so you know I love this her when you see me striking a pose back then. Don’t get me wrong, I love the girls I know that do cheer but, old feelings die hard).
I gotta say that I had a lot of fun with this session because this was my first cheerleading one. I was very dedicated and even jumped the fence so that I could back up enough for a shot (I may have needed a “base support” but maybe we’ll tuck that far back in the memory vault.) This session is also special because of KK (aka Katelyn) whom, if you read her last blog post is my cousin who pretty much prepared me for motherhood and was my first ever photography subject.
When we did her last session we were uncertain of whether or not the football season would happen so I’m so grateful things changed so she would do one last year of it. Katelyn I’m so proud of you and I hope this season treats you well!
