If there is one thing I find similar when asking seniors what they would tell their younger self it is this, “Don’t worry about what others think, just be yourself”- Emma Zolnierek. It’s a common thing. When high school is all said and done there’s a reflection on what made the biggest deals. While we’re all trying to “be ourselves”, we don’t quite know who we are yet until we head out into the real world on our own.
It all started with Instagram. Believe it or not, but for years I refused to download the photo friendly app. It was until I did some training in business that really pushed me to do it and I’m so glad I did. Two years ago I got an inquiry for a senior shoot from Sophie and Katie. Can you guess how they found me? Yup Instagram. After putting up with the app where we’re all constantly fighting the masses to provide cute little images in square boxes, it all became worth it. After two years I’ve now had the privilege to meet Emma (Sophie’s sister), a senior at Granville High School. She’s got a gentle heart, can seem shy but if I went back to high school I’m pretty sure her and I would be best friends. She aspires to go into the dentistry field and plans to stay home for a bit of her college career. I’m guessing because she wouldn’t want to leave her adorable dog, Arlo. Emma I am so glad to have met you and I hope to see you again in the future!
