What does this cost me?

The cost of the program is $600 and it's due at our first official shoot. This cost includes the program and your individual session cost. This covers the cost of digitals for any team session but not for minis and your individual session. The cost for digitals at your individual session is $25 per download or $500 for the whole gallery of digital downloads. You can earn all downloads by referring 5 people to KHP. Once they all book you will get your gallery unlocked!

IF I DON'T MAKE THE TEAM HOW MUCH DOES A SESSION COST?

All of my portrait sessions cost $300 unless it's an extended family. Please note this does not include digital downloads. They cost $25 each or $500 for the entire lot. Your gallery will also have the opportunity to purchase prints as well.

CAn anyone be a spokesmodel?

YES! However, to provide the BEST possible experience to my senior spokesmodels I like to limit the number of spokesmodels selected each year to around 10. Even if you are NOT selected as a senior spokesmodel, you can still absolutely book a regular senior session with me.

How are senior spokesmodels selected?

I select my senior spokesmodels through an application process, and those interested should apply the winter of their Junior year of high school. I’m looking for a diverse group of girls to represent my brand – specifically those that love being in front of the camera, have a positive attitude and get along well with others (we truly are a TEAM!), and are excited to work with me and represent my brand! It’s also great if you are active in school, community, or church activities and don’t mind posting on social media. My photos are authentic and fun, not overly airbrushed, and strive to represent the real you – not a fake photo version. When you look back on your senior photos, I want you to look like you! What do you look for when choosing senior spokesmodel team members?

I would love to be able to have everyone that applies be on the senior team, but I truly want my senior team to have an amazing year long experience. In order to do that, I currently can take about 10 girls each year. When choosing team members, I look at what high school you attend, your school and community involvement, and your excitement for the program.

Will the senior spokesmodel team take up a lot of my time?

There are three sessions and our meet and greet that you are required to attend. These dates are already on my application so you know what they are in advance. My hope when choosing my senior team is that I select girls that are excited to participate in all of those team sessions. Plus the more photoshoots you attend, the more photos you get.

How do you handle payments and when are they due?

All payments will be done through a client portal. You will be sent an email with an invoice and you can pay this prior to the first session which is when it is required (June 25). You can pay as much as you want prior to this date as well. On May 18 at the meet and greet we'll go over this. You can pay cash or check as well if you prefer.

WHEN WILL I FIND OUT IF I'm CHOSEN?

All the applications will close on March 25, 2025. On April 15 I will notify those that made the program. This means you'll have spring break to get excited as well. I can't wait to see your application!

What's included in a download if I purchase this?

With each download you have permission to print them wherever your choose or share on social media. With this I ask for you to credit Kara Hanes Photography when sharing. I also own the copyright so they can not be sold or submitted to publication without permission.

WHAT DO I GET FOR BEING IN THE PROGRAM?

HOW DO WE COMMUNICATE?

The team and parents will be invited to the BAND App where all prime communication about sessions and activities will take place. Other than this I use email as my preferred method of communication.

WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO REFER PEOPLE?

We will go over this in depth at our meet and greet event. After this meeting you'll have a sheet to bring me to our first session which will contain 20 seniors and their numbers. This can be parents too. By having me reach out to them on your behalf it's just that much easier!
