As my kids get older I start to think of these years as their “formative ones”. It definitely makes me think back to the ones I had and what parts I treasure the most. Today I get to share with you a family that I spent every week with if not every day while I was in high school. Cacia and I were inseparable. If we weren’t at my house then we were usually at hers. Thom and Louann were my second parents and we did pretty much everything together. After high school our lives moved on and things changed. Some of us move away and some don’t but those relationships will always be remembered. I was very excited for Cacia to be in town and for me, any chance I get to pull out my camera is exciting so we decided after so many years and kiddos later it was time to get their whole clan together. It may have been short time and missing one very important person (Trav- Cacia’s husband) but it was so wonderful seeing all of them together in one place (even Grandma Nakken!) Enjoy these little glimpses into our time together.
